This privacy policy summarizes the principles with which Cliplister treats personal and other data from third parties that stem either from the use of the Internet service www.cliplister.com or that are provided by the user.
1. General
Adhering to German and European data protection laws is Cliplister’s highest priority. Cliplister tries to not only fulfill the legal requirements for data protection but also tries to take into consideration self-regulation recommendations of recognized committees regarding data protection.
2. Personal data and other data
Personal data are individual details about personal or factual matters of a certain or identifiable natural person; other data in the context of this policy is all non-personal information Cliplister receives when using this service. In cases of doubt, Cliplister will treat the information as personal data.
3. Data collection
Cliplister agrees to collect personally identifiable data only in accordance with legal regulations. Other data is mainly collected by Cliplister in the form of connection information that is customarily recorded by web servers. This includes, for example, website access date, videos or files viewed, the browser software used and the user’s IP address.
The other data is not used to draw any conclusions about the user’s identity. Moreover, further processing and evaluation of other data is likewise only performed anonymously, for example for statistical purposes, fault removal or to identify attempted unauthorized access.
4. Disclosure
No personal data will be disclosed to third parties. This does not apply if we are required to disclose the information to authorized state officials or to prosecution services.
5. Data processing outside of Germany
Cliplister reserves the right to run servers that are located outside of the sovereign territory of the countries in the European Union. Cliplister guarantees that the data stored on these servers is given the same level of protection that applies in Germany and the European Union.
6. Technical data protection
Cliplister maintains its servers at state-of-the-art security levels. Wherever technically appropriate, safe transmission channels (SSL channels) are made available for personal identifiable data collection. Furthermore, Cliplister has bound all staff members and third parties involved in the system maintenance to confidentiality.
7. Right to information
If Cliplister has collected any personally identifiable data, Cliplister agrees to give information about the data stored. If absolutely secure cases, this can also be performed as an automated procedure.
